![]() ![]() OK, I thought let me buy some more USB audio devices, perhaps it is a problem. still no USB PnP drivers working on this system. More calls to Microsoft support with some pretty sketchy results. I thought I'd check both the Plantronics USB Device & the new one on a Windows 10 laptop (also 64 bit AMD) They both worked fine! They suggested that the sound device didn't support Windows 10. Read more about changing ASIO4ALL settings here.Ī call to Microsoft Support failed to really get to the route of the problem but installing Windows 7 drivers for the new sound device worked ok. Use the ASIO4ALL Off-Line Settings app to select which playback devices in your DAW or other audio software. The ASIO4ALL driver is optimized for audio and runs smoother than a generic driver. Your computer comes with generic drivers, but they’re not always the best for audio. This bug seems to have been fixed in Windows 10. Workaround for a bug in the Windows 8/8.1 Bluetooth audio driver (causing BSOD when device is opened twice). A new usb sound device was purchased and I got exactly the same problem.Ĭhanges since version 2.12.
